The Topical Group in Gravitation (GGR), a subunit of the American Physical Society (APS), is the U.S. organization most concerned with research in general relativity, Einstein's curved spacetime theory of gravitation. Another APS subunit, the Forum on the History of Physics (FHP) focuses on Einstein in a different way. For 2005, these two organizations have put together a program of speakers who will be available for schools and other groups. These speakers are not only researchers and scholars; they are also scientists who have a knack for explaining to the public Einstein's ideas and their impact.
