AAPT Topical Conference
Teaching General Relativity to Undergraduates

With the assistance of LIGO/Caltech, the NSF Physics Frontier Center for Gravitational Wave Physics at Penn State, and the Syracuse University Department of Physics, AAPT is organizing a conference/workshop on teaching general relativity to undergraduates. The event will be held at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY on July 20 and 21, 2006.

Attendance will be limited to fifty participants. The registration fee is $100. (For those registered for the AAPT Summer Meeting in Syracuse, NY, July 24-26, the fee is $30.) Those for whom the registration fee is a hardship should ask for help from AAPT; a small amount of financial assistance will be available. Information on lodgings will be available soon.
