Melba Newell Phillips Medal
Established in 1981


The Melba Newell Phillips Medal is presented to an AAPT leader whose creative leadership and dedicated service have resulted in exceptional contributions to AAPT.

A $7,500 monetary award, the Melba Newell Phillips Medal, an Award Certificate, and travel expenses to the meeting are presented to the recipient.

The award is made only occasionally.
