AAPT Section News

Welcome to AAPT's new start page for Section information. Bringing the Section News online is the latest step in our efforts to leverage technology to bring information to our members in a quick and organized manner. Additionally, this new area continues our transition away from the Announcer magazine (more information is available here).

Below is Section News that we have received over the past several months. We are currently revamping our submission guidelines and will be distributing this information to the Sections soon. In the meantime, section reps can send news to news@aapt.org.

Special Note on the New AAPT Logo
We are currently developing a roll-out plan and specific usage guidelines for the new AAPT logo. We expect this information to be available in late fall 2007 along with a downloads page where you can obtain the new logo. Until then, we ask that all Sections continue to use the old AAPT logo on all media.
