Do you have a student who deserves some special recognition for their accomplishments in physics? AAPT will provide high school physics teachers with a certificate which may then be awarded to their student. Judging of AAPT’s Video and High School Physics Photo Contest will take place at our summer meeting in Salt Lake City, UT. The Video Contest is open to any high school student or faculty member. The High School Physics Photo Contest is open to high school students. To find out more about these two contests go to http://www.aapt.org/Contests/index.cfm

Each year, AAPT and APS organize the judging team for the physics displays at the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). Held annually in May, the Intel ISEF brings together over 1,200 students from 40 nations to compete for scholarships, tuition grants, internships, and scientific field trips. This year ISEF will be held the week of May 8-14, 2005 at the Phoenix Civic Plaza Convention Center. We are soliciting names of 3 to 4 judges who would volunteer to spend one and half days to judge entries.
