Assign Class by Element Type

Use this dialog to assign styles to Elements and Element components by type. Access this dialog by clicking the Select button to modify the body text style in Style Sheet Sets. You can also access this dialog by clicking the Assign Class link when editing Element style. See Common Wizards - Style Sheets - Element Style in the Contributor's Reference.

Select an Element type from this list. The dialog expands to show current class assignments for this Element and its components. The example below shows no explicit style assignments for the Image Element.

The example below shows the redtext class assigned as an option for text around an image.

To add a class assignment to the Element or a subcomponent, click the corresponding icon to open the Select Class dialog. To remove one or more class assignments, check the corresponding checkboxes and click Delete Selected Items.

To change the default style for an Element, click the associated pencil icon to display the Edit Global Style dialog.
