Content Formatting

CommonSpot supports the use of Cascading Style Sheets - CSS Classes - to format pages and ships with a set of default styles for each CommonSpot Element.

You can accept the default classes or assign classes from a stylesheet copied to your site's /style/ subdirectory. You can assign styles to individual CommonSpot Elements or subcomponents or set global style defaults. For individual class-to-Element assignments, use the following CommonSpot options:

You can also combine the two assignment options - assignments made in Assign Classes by Class Name are visible and editable in the Assign Classes by Element Type dialog, and vice versa.

Content Formatting gives you options for adding, removing, and assigning default Fonts for your site.

For more information on using styles to format content, refer to the Rich Text Editor chapter of this guide and the appropriate sections of the CommonSpot Content Contributor's Reference.
