Prior to becoming involved with the U.S. Physics Team, Mogge was the AAPT test editor. In 1996 and 1997 she was a coach for the U.S. Physics Team; 1998 senior coach; academic director since 1999.   Senior Coach Robert H. Shurtz Robert H. Shurtz - Senior Coach - PTRA physics teacher at Hawken School, Gate Mills, OH. He has been a source of many past team members. Shurtz has been a coach since 2001.   Coaches Nicholas Park Nicholas Park - 2004 Coach - Physics teacher at Creekview High School in Texas. He was a Bronze medalist for the physics team in 1994. Park has been a coach since 2003.   Paul Stanley Paul Stanley - 2004 Coach - Physics and Astronomy Associate Professor at Beloit College. His research involves classical and quantum chaos, and varies between highly theoretical, heavily computational, and playfully experimental. In his spare time he plays the trumpet semi-professionally and writes undergraduate physics textbooks. Stanley has been a coach since 2003.   Junior Coach Andrew Lin Andrew Lin - 2004 Junior Coach - Yale student and silver medalist in 1998 and gold medalist in 1999. Lin has been a junior coach since 2001.   Lab Coach And Assistant Warren Turner Warren Turner - 2004 Lab Coach - Physics teacher at the Brunswick School in Connecticut. Turner has been with the team since 1999 as a coach and senior lab coach from 2001 to 2003.   Violeta Prieto-Gortcheva Violeta Prieto-Gortcheva - 2004 Lab Assistant - University of Maryland student. Prieto-Gortchev has been with the team as lab assistant since 2001.
