Biography
This is my second time writing this biography, and, unfortunately, nothing about me has dramatically changed. I have always preferred math the sciences over the arts ever since I was very young (which is why I currently attend a math and science focused high school rather than the School of the Arts right next door). My first introduction to physics was during my freshman year, which was not very long ago. The course itself contained very little material, but what intrigued me the most was learning why and how things worked in my environment. That summer, I took a college physics course at the University of Delaware and strengthened my knowledge as well as my interest for physics. Of course one would not normally find me doing physics problems in order to reach personal nirvana, but every time I do work on physics, I always find it more enjoyable than any other area of science. I first learned about this AMC equivalent contest in physics through a friend of mine during the summer before my sophomore year and decided to give it a try. Somehow, I was selected as one of those lucky ones to attend the Physics camp at U of Maryland. The training camp, although extremely intense, rewarded me with a myriad of new Physics knowledge and some new Frisbee-playing friends. I had a great time last year and I am sure I will enjoy this year’s camp as well. I am really excited to meet you all!
