David Jones - 2008 Coach - David taught high school physics for 19 years at three different high schools in the Miami Dade County Public Schools. Three of his students over the years earned a spot on the US Physics Team. David also works for the College Board as an AP Physics Workshop Consultant. He is currently working at Florida International University teaching Physics I and II and working as a coordinator for a physics education and outreach grant titled CHEPREO. |

Elena Yudovina - 2008 Junior Coach - Senior at Harvard in mathematics - team member in 2003 and gold medalist in 2004. In her time off from math and physics, Elena is avidly forgetting various live languages (English included) and regretting that she doesn't know any dead ones. She was a junior coach last year, and is delighted to be back. |

Safa Motesharrei - 2008 Assistant Lab Coach - Safa Motesharrei - Graduate student in physics and mathematics at the University of Maryland. His research is on Chaos theory in general. His basic hobby is to attack challenging problems. He enjoys playing piano and listening to various styles of music as well. He is delighted to work with the talented Olympiad students. |
