The annual AAPT picnic will be held Monday, Aug. 2, offsite at the PASCO scientific facilities in Roseville, CA.

The picnic is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and buses will begin leaving as early as 5:30 p.m. The “Out-Laws of Physics” will provide musical entertainment. The group features Jolene “Throat” Houser on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, John “Phingerz” Jewett on keyboard, Harvey “Styx” Leff on drums, and John “Slo” Mallinckrodt on lead guitar.

The menu includes hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, teriyaki boneless chicken breasts, corn on the cob, tossed green salad with dressings, pasta salad, garlic bread, assorted beverages, and dessert.

Tours of the PASCO plant will follow the entertainment. To round out the evening, you will be treated to a fantastic outdoor demo show at 7:30 p.m. Bus transportation to and from the Roseville is included in the price of the ticket. You don’t want to miss this fabulous evening of food, physics, and fun!

Price: $30 for adults, $20 for children 7-15.

No refunds on picnic tickets will be given after July 16.
