The Bauder Fund Committee met at the 128th National Meeting and approved grants to support first-time national meeting attendees who attend selected workshops, as well as for several PIRA and physics outreach projects.
Laboratory or demonstration support staff are eligible to receive $200 awards to help defray the cost of selected workshops at the AAPT 129th National Meeting in Sacramento.
To be eligible, the lab or demo staff member must be a first-time meeting attendee and must attend a full day of selected workshops. Attendess can attend one of the full day workshops listed below, or they can attend two-half day workshops listed below:
- W07-Lecture Demonstrations (full day);
- W13- Introductory Instructional Laboratories (half-day);
- W32-Lecture Demonstrations II (full day);
- W41-Advanced and Intermediate Instructional Laboratories (half-day);
- W30-Physics on the Road I (half-day); and
- W45-Physics on the Road II (half-day).
The first 20 applicants to meet the requirements will receive the awards.
