If you have recently joined AAPT as a member or updated your membership, the processing time takes approximately 72 hours. If you wish to register for an upcoming conference, meeting or event, you will incur the non-member rate until your membership has been processed. Please contact the Meetings Department via meetings@aapt.orgto verify that your membership has been processed within the time frame indicated above.

(Please Note: There is a $10 administrative fee for all mailed or faxed registration forms.)

Participants outside of North America (North America includes, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and U.S. Territories) will receive a 50% reduction in registration for the Full Meeting only.

Cancellation Fee: A $40 registration fee will apply to all canceled registrations.

Midway Airport
Midway Airport is located 10 miles from downtown Chicago. During rush-hour travel times can take up to 45 minutes. The cost of taking a taxi between Midway and downtown is approximately $28-$32.

O’Hare International Airport
O’Hare International Airport is located 13 miles from downtown Chicago. During rush-hour travel times can take approximately one hour.The cost of taking a taxi between O’Hare and downtown varies from $30-$50, depending on travel time.

Amtrak offers long distance services to and from Chicago’s Union Station via New York, Seattle, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. O'Hare International Airport:Go Airport Express shuttles leave O'Hare for all downtown Chicago hotels every 10 to 15 minutes from the lower level baggage claim area. You do not need a reservation if you are leaving O'Hare for downtown. Reservations are required for return trips to the airport, trips to the suburbs, or if you require a special service or handicap accessible vehicle. Shuttle service begins at 4:00 a.m. and the last shuttle leaves O’Hare at 11:30 p.m.
