Abstract Submissions

Submit an Abstract

AAPT is accepting summer meeting abstracts from January 17 to February 21, 2018.

Post-deadline Abstracts

Abstracts received between February 22 through May 9 will be considered post-deadline. All post-deadline abstracts will be scheduled on August 1 in the last session of the day. 

Who May Submit an Abstract 

  • AAPT members in good standing
  • Nonmembers who have completed a Membership Application and submitted dues payment before the appropriate deadline
  • Nonmembers whose abstracts are sponsored by members. These abstracts must include a footnote with the statement "Sponsored by (member's name)"

Abstract Acceptance

All abstracts will be accepted. You will not be notified of your acceptance. You must check the AAPT website in late April for the scheduled date and time of your presentation.  

Speaker Registration

All speakers must be registered by May 30 in order to have your abstract(s) included as part of the program. If you do not register by the deadline date your abstract will be automatically cancelled.

AAPT would like to collect and archive all presentations from our National meetings. Please forward a copy of your presentation to webmaster@aapt.org.
