• In advance of the workshop I ask two things of the participants in the research mentor training workshop:

1. Please visit and briefly explore the Research Mentor Training materials website .  It's free to create an account, and I would suggest taking a short amount of time (less than an hour) to explore the site and flip through the materials, in particular the Physics or Astrophysics pre-made curricula. 
2. Ask around your department or college about faculty professional development opportunities and find out who might be able to run a mentor training seminar at their home institutions.
