East Bank Campus:

Campus Connectors

Campus Connector (Route 121) provides direct bus service to all campuses.  Shuttles will run continuously, but service will vary depending on the time of year.

Airport

Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is the 14th busiest airport in the United States and the third largest hub for Delta airlines. Southwest Airlines is a recent arrival to MSP, offering more flight options from all around the country. 

Airline Discount

AAPT and Delta Air Lines have partnered to offer you discounted airfare rates for the 2014 AAPT Summer Meeting.  You will need to reference Meeting Event Code NMJB7 to purchase your ticket and the negotiated discount will be applied.

Reservations and ticketing is available via www.delta.com or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800-328-1111.  Please note, a Direct Ticketing Charge will apply for booking by telephone.  When booking online, select Meeting Event Code NMJB7 on the Search Flight page.

Taxi 

A taxi to the conference hotels will cost approximately $35 to $40 and will take about 30 minutes.

Choose SuperShuttle and book online to receive discounted rates to the conference hotels and dormitories.

Light Rail 

Riding public transportation is a convenient and inexpensive way to get around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Click here for information on Metro Transit.

The Blue Line (Hiawatha) runs from the airport to the downtown area. Once downtown you must transfer to the Green Line to get to the University. The ride takes 25 minutes and the cost is $1.75 - $2.25.  In June, a light rail station is opening near the Marriott Courtyard and the Commons Hotel.

AVIS Rental Car

Avis car rental is offering a discount to all AAPT Summer Meeting attendees. Please call Avis directly at 800-331-1600 and use the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number J945158 or go directly to the AVIS Website. The discount is effective 7 days before and 7 days after the conference.
