Experienced Faculty Workshop
March 2016 Experienced Faculty Workshop

Thanks to generous support from the National Science Foundation, AAPT in collaboration with the American Physical Society and the American Astronomical Society hosted the workshop March 18-20, 2016 at the American Center for Physics. The workshop was aimed at tenured faculty members who want to learn more about effective physics and astronomy teaching practices and the evidence for the effectiveness of those practices in their roles as department leaders, mentors for junior faculty members, and physics and astronomy educators. The workshop had a mix of presentations by national leaders such as Eric Mazur and smaller group discussions.

The workshop was held in Minneapolis, MN July 24 - 26, 2014 at the Commons Hotel on University of Minnesota's campus. The workshop had a mix of presentations by national leaders in physics education and small group discussions.
