FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 16, 2022, College Park, MD — Five students have been selected to represent the U.S. Physics Team at the 52nd International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), a competition among high-school physics students that will be held virtually, and hosted July 10 - 17 by Switzerland. The main aim of IPhO is to test the highest level of knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, right practices of presentation and analysis, and hands-on skills in theoretical and experimental physics.
The IPhO representatives of the U. S. Team members are:
Alex S. Gu, Valley Christian High School, San Jose, CA
