2023 U. S. Physics Traveling TeamU.S. Physics Team Members Selected to Participate in the 2023 International Physics Olympiad

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 21, 2023, College Park, MD—Five students have been selected to represent the U.S. Physics Team at the 53rd International Physics Olympiad to be held July 10–17 at National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo, where student scholars from many nations will test their knowledge in physics, competing with the world's best.

The five traveling members of the 2023 U.S. Physics Team are:
Shuoyan Chen, Troy High School, Fullerton, CA 
Collin Fan, Adlai E. Stevenson High School, Lincolnshire, IL 
Evan Kim, Tesla STEM High School, Redmond, WA 
Zian Shi, Clovis North High School, Fresno, CA 
Feodor Yevtushenko, University High School, Irvine, CA
Alternate traveler: Sami Labidi, Andover High School, Andover, KS
