PLEASE NOTE: Today, March 24th, we sent an email to the teachers/proctors of the students who have qualified to move on to the USAPhO exam. Teachers were provided a link to a student survey that students will need to complete by April 3rd in order to take the USAPhO exam. Students should check with their teachers if they have not received this information.
If you are unable to contact your proctor for the survey information, please send an email to programs@aapt.org. If when filling out the survey, you are uncertain what your Student ID is (this is an AAPT assigned ID, not your high school ID), please contact AAPT at programs@aapt.org.

PLEASE NOTE: An email with instructions to check student scores was sent to teachers/proctors on Thursday, March 13th. If this email was not received, please let us know.
You can find the statistics/results for the 2025 F=ma exam at this LINK.
We are still working out some details about the USAPhO exam, and will email the teachers/proctors of the students who qualified as soon as things are finalized.
We will also post information here for those students whose teachers are on Spring Break. There will be a survey, and possibly a student registration form.

The grading of the F=ma exam has been completed, statistics/results will be posted soon.
The qualifying score to move on to the USAPhO exam is 15 and above. Individual student scores will be emailed to the exam proctors today or tomorrow.
The USAPhO exam date is April 10, 2025.
The proctors of students who have qualified to take the USAPhO exam will receive an email next week.

Solutions for the 2025 F=ma exam are available at this LINK.
Student scores are being compiled, they should be available by early March and will be emailed to the exam proctors.
Once scoring is complete, we will post the results and the cutoff scores to qualify for the USAPhO exam. The teachers/proctors who have student(s) that qualify to take the USAPhO exam will be receiving an email informing them which of their student(s) have qualified.

Registration for the 2025 F=ma exam is open. Register online with a credit card, or by mail with a check or purchase order at the REGISTRATION page.

PLEASE NOTE: We have implemented the following two changes for the 2025 F=ma exam.
- We are no longer allowing students outside of the U.S. to participate in the F=ma exam. All students must be located within the U.S. to take the F=ma exam, and the USAPhO exam.
- Due to exam security concerns, for-profit test prep centers, and for-profit educational services will no longer be allowed to proctor the F=ma or USAPhO exams.
