The inward concave of the spoon on the left reflects the light in two different directions: the bottom of the spoon reflects the light up while the top reflects the light down. Because the two light reflections are traveling in opposite directions, they cross, thus making you see the reflection of the bus upside down. The spoon on the right is turned on the other side of the spoon, the side that has an outward concave. The outward concave reflects the light in opposite directions, so the light never crosses itself, reflecting the bus rightside up.
