Committee Meetings
All committee meetings will be held in the new AAPT online community module Tradewing (unless otherwise noted).
To attend a virtual committee meeting, you may either click the link below, or visit AAPT COMMUNITIES (https://aapt.tradewing.com/) and click the EVENTS tab in the left margin of the site.
During events on AAPT COMMUNITIES, there are two modes of participation: “Participant” and “Listener.” Participants may all enable their cameras and microphones and actively participate in the discussion. There are typically 15 Participant slots available per event. For our committee meetings, each Committee Member is a Participant. If you are not a Participant, you are a Listener. Though your camera and microphone are not enabled, you can listen to the discussion and participate in the Chat. However, the Participant slots can be passed on to Listeners during the event. Think of the Participant role as a set of microphones that can be passed around during an event in an auditorium.
If there are Participant slots available, a Listener can simply click on the “Participate” button on the screen. Or, type a message in the Chat window indicating that you have a question or comment and would like to be a Participant, and a moderator can help.
