The summer meeting will be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront Seaport District ideally located along the Waterfront. A vibrant neighborhood in an iconic city, the Seaport District offers rich history, world-famous attractions, and hidden gems for those who want to take the path less traveled. We are close to family-friendly fun at Boston Children's Museum, stunning exhibits at the Institute of Contemporary Art, and much more.

What is the main hotel?
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Westin Boston Waterfront Seaport District. Secure your accommodations at the Westin to network, and helps AAPT negotiate the best deals on your behalf.
What is the hotel cut-off date?
The last day to book a room is Friday, June 14, 2024. We suggest that you book your room early, since the hotel can sell out before the cut-off date.

Is AAPT membership required to attend the Summer Meeting?
AAPT membership is not required to attend the Summer Meeting, however, the registration rate is lower for AAPT members.
How long will my membership or renewal take to process?
A new membership or membership renewal will take 48 hours to process before the member rate will be available.
Do I need tickets to attend events or sessions?
Your 2024 AAPT Summer Meeting badge grants access to all sessions and the exhibit hall. To participate in workshops and select special events, you'll need to obtain additional tickets alongside your registration.
What is the attire for the meeting?
Casual attire is recommended. Comfortable shoes and a sweater or jacket are also recommended.
Will I be photographed or videotaped?
AAPT takes photos and videos at this meeting. By registering, you give AAPT permission to use any photos or video taken at the conference in which you appear.
Will workshops take place during the meeting?
Workshops will be held July 6-10. There is an additional cost to register for workshops. Some workshops will be held offsite while the majority will be held at the Weston Boston Waterfront Seaport District.
How will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
All abstracts will be accepted.
Are speakers required to register to be eligible to present?
All contributed talks, posters presenters and invited member speakers, including recently lapsed members (within the last five years) are required to register for the meeting in order to present.
How do I cancel my abstract?
If you are not able to present at the meeting and need to cancel your abstract for urgent reasons, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
